Early in his career, audio gear was still analog. With the integration of digital consoles starting to make an appearance a few years into his career, Scott went from working on analog Midas consoles to digital desks, like the Avid Profile and SC48. As well as the occasional Yamaha M7 and LS9.

After advancing through the paces at Saddleback Church, Scott was offered a job with the Walt Disney Company in Anaheim, working at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Scott spent a few years working in various show positions and install jobs around the resort. While at Disney, Scott made a few connections with regional production companies and decided to part ways with the Walt Disney Company to pursue a career as a freelance sound engineer.

With Scott’s previous work as a sound tech, he progressed in his freelance career quite quickly. He soon became a frequent call for the various production companies he was freelancing with as an A1 and A2.

In his time freelancing, Scott has worked globally doing corporate general session, gaming and corporate conventions, working along side the White House on presidential media stops, and mixing monitors for small festivals. Scott continues to remain competitive in the industry by deep diving the world of RF and RF Coordination. He’s also taken a new found interest in Networking and QSYS system design. As of October 2023, Scott has been studying for a CompTIA Network+ certification as well as working towards a QSYS level 1 certification.
